Step 1: Complete Your Design Checklist
To get started we like learn about your unique project so we can start narrowing down options.
We start with design preferences; what room(s) you are working on, what you like and dislike for colors and patterns, what items you may want to keep for the new design.
Then we will ask about functionality; how many people are we designing the space for, do you have children or pets, how will the room be used and how often.
Finally we start to estimate how much you would like to spend on your design, so we can deliver the room of your dreams within your budget.
Step 2: Meet Your Design Consultant In-Store
After learning about your project the next step is to meet your design consultant in-store.
Here we will have you try out furniture; see what sizing you like, a firm or soft seat, what textures and feels you like for your home.
We will also find items that you like in-store that we can customize for your project's specific needs and style requirements.
Step 3: In-Home Consultation
The next step is having a design consultant visit your home and begin to customize products for your space.
At this step we will measure the space, take note of any obstructions like heating vents and general traffic flows through the room so we can create floor plans for your space.
Your designer will also be able to get a feel for your home's unique design style, see any pieces you may want to keep for the new design and also look at your existing flooring and wall colors.
Step 4: Design Presentation
Finally we will schedule a presentation of your project's design in our main showroom.
We will go over layouts, fabric and finish options and show you the products we want to use in the design.
Here you can see your project come to life and make any changes you would like with your design consultant.
After you finalize your project Simon's will handle all the ordering, staging and white glove delivery of your furniture into your home making it an easy one stop shopping experience.
